Alpha Behavioral Health Services participates in many community
partnerships to more efficiently and effectively provide services. Below
is a listing of programs, services and collaboratives we are proud
to actively participate in.
2-1-1 San Diego
2-1-1 is an easy-to-remember telephone number that connects anyone
looking for help to those who want to help with available
community resources. Tracking call data helps ensure
the most efficient and effective use of community resources. For

Emergency Food and Shelter Program (EFSP)
A 24-member panel of representatives from government and
private industry responsible for distributing $1.2 million in federal
funds to emergency food and shelter programs throughout the county. For

Emergency Resource Group (ERG)
ERG is comprised of front-line staff who meet monthly to share
resource availability in San Diego and to network. For

Caring Council
The Caring Council is a voluntary association of individuals concerned
with the policies and practices that affect accessible and affordable
housing, health care, education, and other resources for the
increasing number of people living in San Diego County. For

CA Emergency Housing Assistance Program
(EHAP)
The Emergency Housing and Assistance Program (EHAP) is the state’s
primary funding source for emergency and transitional housing to
the 360,000 homeless in California. For more information,

California Partnership for Access to Treatment
(CPAT)
CPAT is a diverse network of advocacy
organizations, community groups, health care providers
and employers committed to increasing access to prescription
medicines to ensure a healthy and productive California. For

Community Heath Improvement Partners (CHIP)
CHIP is a collaboration of San Diego health care systems,
hospitals, community clinics, insurers, physicians, universities,
community benefit organizations and the County of San Diego. CHIP
is dedicated to increasing awareness and responsiveness to community
health needs and expanding coordination among health improvement
projects throughout the San Diego region. For more information,

Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC)
EITC is a refundable tax credit designed to help lift
low-income individuals and families out of poverty. It is considered
to be a highly effective anti-poverty program because it encourages
people to work, and supplements wages while building purchasing
power and returning revenue to communities. For more information,

San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative (SDHFC)
The San Diego HIV Funding Collaborative is a group of
funders and concerned community members whose mission is to raise,
leverage and collaboratively allocate private funds in
order to reduce the impact of HIV in the San Diego region. For
